Established in Augusta, Georgia in June 2000, TSA was created by a group of individuals
with a combined experience of 90 plus years in the golf car industry. It began as
an independent golf car dealer with a primary focus on the used wholesale market.
Their knowledge and reputation in the golf car industry has enabled them to do business
throughout the United States and to expand around the world. Keys to their success
include product knowledge, industry contacts, financial soundness, sales professionalism,
and quality service.
Behind any successful business, you will usually discover strong, focused individuals
that do whatever it takes to make sure their customers receive the best possible
service; long after the initial sale is made. TSA is no exception.
John Boone is a
graduate from the University of Georgia in 1981 with a Bachelor of Business Administration
Degree. John joined Club Car in 1983 as Sales Representative for the Used Car Division
and due to his outstanding leadership and management skills his career rapidly progressed,
cumulating with the position of Director of Sales/Secondary Markets responsible
for all used car sales company wide.
In 1999 John desired to form a company of his
own that would be dedicated to Total Customer Service and began plans towards this goal
with his long time friends and
Club Car associates, Tripp Kuhlke and Frank Reese, who shared this
same vision. In 2000 they formed and opened TSA for business, and they haven’t looked
back since.
Tripp Kuhlke is a graduate from Georgia Southern University in 1983 with
a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Hired by Club Car in 1987 as Used Car Sales Representative,
Tripp’s vibrant personality and love for all things Golf rapidly advanced him to
Territory Manager for South Georgia and Coastal Carolinas responsible for factory
direct new car fleet sales and dealer development. Tripp’s energetic approach to
selling and his gregarious personality comprises a vital component of TSA’s selling
duo.
Frank Reese, began his golf car career in 1957 with Bev and Billy Dolan, founders
of E-Z Go Golf Car Company. Responsible for manufacturing and service, as well as,
research and development, Frank remained at E-Z Go until 1978 when he came with
former E-Z Go management who purchased Club Car Inc. from Johns-Mansville. Frank
was head of research and development in the early years of Club Car and later became
Service Manager for Used Cars and Service Department. Franks knowledge over the
past 45 years in the golf car industry is unparalleled. He is one of the main keys
to TSA’s success.
Michele Edelmann, began her career at Club Car in 1987 as Sales
Secretary in the Used Car Department, responsible for processing used car sales
orders. As the Used Car Division grew in size, Michele took on additional responsibilities
and later became Used Car Sales Coordinator. In this role Michele would track used
car sales company wide for all sales personnel and would implement policy and procedures
to ensure proper sales credit and order processing. Her knowledge in the golf car
industry and particularly used cars has contributed substantially to the overall
success of TSA.
Van Patrick, a graduate from Georgia Southern University in 1984
with a Bachelor of Science-Industrial Management, joined Club Car, Inc. in 1986
as a Technical Representative. Due to his extensive knowledge of the Club Car products
coupled with his professionalism and friendly personality Van was soon promoted
to Golf Car Sales Territory Manager. Joining TSA in 2003, Van’s knowledge and ability
to make customers feel at ease during the transaction, has led him to become the
most sought after salesman for the individual golf car sale.
Wayne Barrow, joined
Club Car in 1997 as Parts Coordinator for the Service Department and was the unanimous
choice to head up TSA’s Parts Department. Bringing his extensive parts knowledge
and technical expertise, Wayne has helped TSA to become a top seller in Genuine

Cars for Club Car’s Lease Fleet for use at PGA Tournaments. Deborah joined TSA in
2002 and tracks TSA’s golf car inventory from delivery to point of sale and ensures
customer calls are handled in a friendly and courteous manner.
